How do I create a PayPal account?

This is a money transfer service for people with money in the ATM card (Visa, Masters, Union, and Discover etc.), PayPal, Mobile Money and M-PESA customers, and enabling movement of funds between accounts from city to city, country to country and continent to continent. The service is provided by a partnership between Global-Mobile Money, PayPal and Mobile Banking Services (Mobile Money, WeChat, MPESA, etc.).

Sign up for a PayPal account at paypal.com and follow the steps to complete registration. While signing up requires adding card details, the account will still be created even if you don’t add a card. To finish setting up your PayPal account, simply click on the PayPal logo at the top left or click on the link in the email from PayPal to confirm your email address.

How can I create a Mobile Banking Account (Mobile Money, WeChat, M-PESA etc?)

My ATM card (Visa, Masters, Union, and Discover etc.), PayPal, Mobile Money and M-PESA account is a business account. How will you confirm my identity?

You can register for Mobile Banking Account by using an registered agent of the telecommunication company providing the service.

In addition to submitting a photo of your ID, we will need a screenshot of your PayPal profile page showing your name and the business name.

The ATM card (Visa, Masters, Union, and Discover etc.), PayPal, Mobile Money and M-PESA account I use is not under my name. Does that mean that I cannot access your services?

What is the maximum amount I can transfer through your service?

 We will process your payments if we can confirm that the owner of the PayPal account has authorized you to use it. To do this, we will need a copy of the person’s ID and their contact phone number. You will also need to provide a copy of your ID if you would like the payments processed to your Mobile Money, WeChat, M-PESA number.

The official limit is $300 USD per transaction per day. However, it is important to note that we review limits on a client-by-client basis. Consequently, we may cap your transfer requests to an amount that is lower or higher than the official limit upon review of your PayPal payment activity. We may also restrict or increase the frequency of your transfer requests based on the same criteria. To know your limit or request for an increase in the size and/or frequency of your transfer requests, please contact us.

What is the least amount you can process for me?

How long will it take for me to receive the money on Mobile Money, WeChat, MPESA number?

The least amount we process is $15 USD. However, we can process as little as $10 USD at your request, though it is more expensive to process lower amounts. You will be advised on how much you will receive before making the transaction.

Although we promise to process your payments within 5 minutes, you will usually have the money in your Mobile Money, WeChat, MPESA account within 2 minutes. Integrity is our mother policy. In the unfortunate event that we experience delays, we will communicate about such delays before you make the transaction and keep you posted until your transaction is completed.

What are your working hours?

Must I contact you before sending payments after the first transaction?

We are open Monday through Saturday 24/24 Sundays 10:00AM to 11:00PM United States time. Unless otherwise communicated on our WhatsApp or Facebook Page, we will usually remain open 24/24 even during holidays.

 

Though not mandatory, it is important to contact us before sending payments. This way, you will know when to expect delays and avoid inconveniences that may result from such delays. You can call, text or email us. Calling or sending a text message is the fastest way to get assisted. Should you need to make a transfer that is outside your allowed limits, it is mandatory that you contact us before sending payment.

Can you send money to a different number or must the number be under my name?

What are your charges?

The first transaction when you register for our services can only be processed to your Mobile Money Account number. You can request us to process to other numbers for subsequent transactions. Every number you provide will be logged in our system in accordance with our privacy policy.

If you send payment without requesting in advance, the payment will be processed to your default Mobile Money, WeChat, M-PESA number. That is, the number to which your first transaction with us was processed.

Should I deduct PayPal transaction fees before sending the payment?

Because:

  • We do not cash out the funds instantly; we access the money days later. We allow a slight difference to cover for unexpected changes in the market rate by the time we cash out the funds.
  • We are charged a currency conversion fee that is quoted as a percentage of the market rate. So, we also do not cash out the funds at the market rate.

 

  • No, PayPal charges the recipient of funds. The sender does not pay a dime.

Can I top up my PayPal account using my Mobile Money, WeChat, M-PESA etc. number balance?

  • Each payment service has specific transfer processes which are always available to guide you.
  • Enter the amount you would like to top up in USD and click “Calculate” to get the equivalent amount converted in your local currency.
